Grade discussion board participation

Discussion boards can be specific graded assignments or contribute to the class participation grade.

1.1. Click on Control Panel.

1.2. Click on Grade Center.

1.3. Click Full Grade Center from the expanded menu.

2. In the column for your Discussion Board assignment, click on the down arrow to the right of one of the "Needs Grading" icons and select "Grade User Activity."

3. Scroll to the bottom of the new window and look in the center pane to review what the student posted.

4. Click in the Grade box to the right to enter the student's grade.

5. Enter any feedback you would like this student to read (this information will not be displayed to others in the discussion board), and click submit.
