Post link to a Discussion Board

Once you create a discussion board, you'll need to add a link to it within the course content and duplicate the discussion board instructions.

1. Click Discussion Board on the left menu.

If you've already created your discussion board, it will save you time to copy and paste the instructions when you add the link to the discussion board.

Click Discussion Board on the left menu.

2. Highlight and copy the discussion board description.

Navigate to where you want the Discussion Board link to appear in your course (e.g., Assignments, Learning Modules).

4. From the Tools menu, select Discussion Board.

From the Tools menu, select Discussion Board.

5.1. If you have already created your Discussion Board, choose "Select a Discussion Board Forum."

5.2. Click the name of the Discussion Board.

5.3. Click Next.

Click Next.

6.1. Paste the description you copied from the discussion board.

6.2. Click Submit.

Click Submit.
Students will now be able to click on the link within the course to access the Discussion Board.
