Add item to course content area

A content item is any type of file, text, image, or link that appears to users in a Content Area, Learning Module, Lesson Plan, or content folder.

1. Click on the section of your course where you would like to add an item.

2. Hover your mouse over Build Content, and select Item.

3. Enter content information.

3.1. Enter a name for the item.

3.2. Enter any additional text for your item.

4. OPTIONAL: Attach any files by clicking Browse My Computer.

5. OPTIONAL: In the Standard Options section, you may limit availability for when your students may access the item.

5.1. Click the box next to Display After and enter the date and time that the item will be available to students.

5.2. Click the box next to Display Until and enter the date and time after which the item will no longer be available to students.

6. Click Submit at the top right or bottom right of the page.
