Add audio to course content area

Select an audio file to play on the page. Include a transcript for those that cannot hear the audio file.

1. Click on the section of your course where you would like to add an audio.

2. Hover your mouse over Build Content, and select File.

3. Select your Audio File.

3.1. Enter a name for your audio.

3.2. Click Browse My Computer to select an audio file from your computer.

Navigate to the audio file you would like to upload, and click Open.

5. OPTIONAL: Set Audio Options.

5.1. For Autostart, click on the button next to Yes if you would like the audio to play immediately when the page is opened.

5.2. For Loop, click on the button next to Yes if you would like the audio to be continuously repeated until the student stops it or navigates away from the page.

5.3. "Add alignment to content" by clicking on the button next to Yes.

5.4. To upload a transcript for people who cannot hear the audio, click on the Browse button.

6. OPTIONAL: In the Standard Options section, you may limit availability for when your students may access the audio.

6.1. Click the box next to Display After and enter the date and time that the audio will be available to students.

6.2. Click the box next to Display Until and enter the date and time after which the audio will no longer be available to students.
