Add course link to course content area

A Link is a shortcut to an area, a tool, or an item. Add a Link to a Content Area to provide quick access points to relevant materials and tools. Options for Links affect the availability and tracking of the content items no matter where they are accessed.

1. Click on the section of your course where you would like to add a course link.

2. Hover your mouse over Build Content, and select Course Link.

3. Enter your Course Link Information.

3.1. Click the Browse button to navigate to the section in your course you would like to link.

3.2. Enter a name for the course link.

3.3. Provide a description for the link.

4. OPTIONAL: In the Standard Options section, you may limit availability for when your students may access the course link.

4.1. Click the box next to Display After and enter the date and time that the course link will be available to students.

4.2. Click the box next to Display Until and enter the date and time after which the course link will no longer be available to students.

5. Click Submit at the top or bottom right of the page.
