Create a Collaborate room

1. In the Course Management section of your course, go to click Control Panel, Course Tools, and then Blackboard Collaborate.

2. Click "Create Session."

3. In the "Session Name" box, enter the name of the session.

4. In the "Start Time" and "End Time" fields, select the date and time you would like the room to be available. If you want the room to be available all semester, select the "Start Time" as the date the course begins and the "End Time" as the last day of classes.

5. If you would like to allow all participants to be moderators (so they can record, share files, etc.), scroll down to "Roles and Access" and click the box next to "All users join as moderators."

6. Click Save.

Click Save.

7. The Collaborate session that was just created appears under Schedule Sessions. Participants can click on that session to enter the Collaborate room.
