Managing Collaborate Ultra Audio and Video Settings
To get started, join your Collaborate room directly from the course, this will take you to the Media Space section of collaborate.
To get started, click Click on Join Room to start the session.
Click on the Purple icon in the lower right hand corner to open the Collaborate Panel.
The Collaborate Panel will appear as the icons you see at the bottom of the panel.
To adjust the Session Settings, select My Settings.
Then Click on the Session Settings dropdown menu.
Select Set up your camera and Microphone.
Collaborate will guide you through the process. Choose the microphone you want to use.
Collaborate tells you that you sound great when it is receiving your audio.
Click “Yes It’s working" if the audio bar is moving when you speak to proceed. If it isn’t, you may ask for help by clicking “No - I need help".
Set up your video. Choose the camera you want to use. Collaborate tells you that you look great when it is receiving your video. SelectYes, it's workingto proceed.
If you see your video, click “Yes It’s working”. Collaborate will assist you with the process if you have difficulty. Click the “No - I Need help” button if necessary.
By default, you are hidden and muted after you complete the setup. Select the microphone and camera icons at the bottom of the screen to begin full meeting participation.
You can adjust your audio and video settings at any time by clicking on the person icon on the bottom of your screen, then on the chevron next to Audio and Video Settings. Next, click on Set Up your Camera and Microphone.
Use Your Phone for Audio
If you would like to use your phone instead of a microphone, you are able to generate a phone number and pin from within this menu. Click, Use your phone for audio.
Your pin will be unique.
By default, your audio and video are disabled when you enter the Collaborate room, regardless if you are using a mic or your phone for audio. To enable your video and or audio, click the icons at the bottom of the screen.
